This is a previously owned serving dish made from carnival glass. Beautiful mixed colors in gold/orange/yellow/pink giving it an iridescent shine. This dish has a molded handle and a divider for 2 different serving items. Smooth interior, pressed fleur-de-lis and flower pattern on the exterior.
I am unsure of the age of this piece, although the popularity of this type of glass was common in the 1930's - 1940's. The unique aspect of carnival glass is its metallic shine and this is due to the application of many kinds of metallic salts during the making of this glass.
Very good condition. Has a slight nick in the top of the divider.
